Ring in the New Year in a unique and memorable way with the New Year’s Eve "Toast with a Ghost!"

Tour the enchanting and mysterious Brinton Lodge, and discover a place lost in time and haunted by a medley of lively spirits! The one-hour candlelight tour features a costumed storyteller who will share little-known tales of secret parties with the rich and famous, fortunes won and lost, and ghostly echoes of eras long forgotten.

The tour concludes with a beer, wine, or sparkling cider “Toast with a Ghost” to ring in the New Year! ​

Tours are available every hour from 6 pm to midnight on Tuesday, December 31, 2019. Additional tour times will be added as needed.

$24 per person. Tickets are limited and advance purchase is required. Proceeds benefit the preservation of Brinton Lodge.

The New Year’s Eve “Toast with a Ghost” takes its inspiration from the old-time holiday tradition of ghostly storytelling (such as Charles Dickens’ ghosts of Christmas) and the long-ago New Year’s Eve custom of “ringing in” the New Year to scare away ghosts and evil spirits. The first "Toast with a Ghost" was offered over 20 years ago as a haunted journey through the Berks countryside. This year, join us to ring in 2020 in a unique and special way while toasting to the ghosts of holidays past in one of Berks County’s oldest and most haunted houses!

A beer, wine, or sparkling cider toast is included in the ticket price. The restaurant will not be open, but there will be a cash bar and light snacks.
